Salt. Cascade

SALT. Cascade is the oversized 1960s/70s round sun: bold silhouette, soft contours. SALT. specifies 8 mm Japanese acetate, functional rivet hinges, and polarized optical-grade glass and CR-39. They write drama; in the shop it is a big round with a 19 mm bridge we can live with.

Who it’s for. Anyone who wants an oversized round sun, not a small optical. 57 mm eye, 19 mm bridge, 145 mm temples. B and ED were not published on the Cascade pages (omitted). Come in to check the scale on your face.

Shape. Round (sun). Manufacturer tags the shape as round and describes a bold silhouette with soft contours that complement any face shape; oversized 1960s and 70s sunglasses.

Material. 8 mm Japanese acetate; functional rivet hinges; Japanese componentry. Polarized optical-grade glass and CR-39 (colorways below list the lens SALT. currently pairs). Coatings: AR, hydrophobic, oleophobic.
