Salt. Desna

SALT. Desna is the driving sunglass in the Rhine family of construction: Japanese titanium with a 1 mm acetate insert so glass and metal can share a chassis. SALT. traces the silhouette to 1917 aviation and sport-driving protection. The insert stiffens and protects the lens and gives a second layer of color — contrast or near-monochrome.

The organic SALT. pattern is stamped inside the temple tips and nose pads. Listed details also include Japanese acetate (the insert and finishing), functional rivet hinges, polarized optical-grade glass and CR-39, plus AR, hydrophobic, and oleophobic coatings.
