Salt. Turtle

SALT. Turtle is the thin round — a softer, slimmer profile in the SALT. language, not a thick vintage hockey puck. If someone wants less mass on the face and still wants Japanese acetate that we can heat and set, this is the one we pull.

Handcrafted in Japan. Functional rivet hinges. SALT. specifies acetate thickness so a slim profile does not mean a stressed lens. Designed in California. Frame $450.

Who it’s for. Anyone who wants a thin, unisex round with a very easy 21 mm bridge. 47 mm eye, 42 mm depth, 148 mm temples. Strong option when a thicker acetate round feels heavy. Fit in shop.

Material. Premium Japanese acetate; functional rivet hinges; Japanese componentry. Acetate thickness specified by SALT. to reduce lens stress.
